Jesus Christ never said to come to Him perfect. He did not ask us to overcome all our issues and then be His disciple. He simply said, "Come..."
In reality we can come with our issues, our addictions, our sicknesses, and our offenses. He wants us to bring our hurts, wounds, scars, and anguish of soul to Him. He desires to see us complete and whole, so He bids, "Come..."
Why are you waiting? Do you think you are good already and do not need Him? Are you waiting on a friend to make the decision too? You can not! This decision must be made on your own. Whatever the reason, it is another excuse keeping you from forgiveness, joy, and peace that God has graciously given us through Jesus Christ.
Do not wait any longer, "Come!"
